Mr. Enoch Agyepong is a Mechanical Engineer & Development Consultant, with global training & professional experiences – focused on Organisational Development, Sustainability, Energy (Infrastructure, Policy & Regulation), Environmental Management, & Strategic Management.
He co-founded an industry-based professional organization that promotes & improves the market space for Renewable Energy (RE) & Energy Efficiency (EE) “Renewable Energy Association of Ghana (REAG)”, and a Management Consultancy firm ‘www.sigmastrat.com‘ – offering innovation, design thinking and leadership training & consultancy services. Mr. Agyepong has key roles in Ghana’s Sector Skills Body for RE & EE; has been a long standing cooperating partner and Steering Committee Member for different bilateral cooperation projects with GIZ; and serves Ghana’s Energy Sector by strengthening the regulatory & energy policy environment, improving infrastructure for reducing technical losses, and is focused on quality of installations, data management and continuous performance improvement through a variety of key projects, initiatives and interventions. Additionally, he works on two Committees of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE) Council, as a dedicated Member.
Enoch is an MBA alumni from Aarhus University, Denmark; has a Certificate in Energy Policy & Public Management from the University of California, Davis – USA, & Sustainable Human Development & Green Industry from the Central European University & UNIDO/UNDP, Budapest, Hungry; & BSc Mechanical Engineering from KNUST, Ghana. He trained in Denmark in Occupational Health & Safety Management – ISO 26000 & 14000, & OSHAS 18001, and has worked on Energy Solutions for Low-Income Communities, the Sustainable Urban Design Forum (by DASUDA, ArchiAfrika & the Embassy of the Netherlands), and as an Environmental Governance advisor on Circular Economy, supported the coordination of the e-Waste and refurbishment standards conference by WorldLoop, TechSoup Global, UNIDO & Microsoft – in South Africa.
