The Global Solar Council (GSC) was founded at COP 21 in 2015 to become the voice for the solar industry across the world. The GSC represents the solar industry at key international forums such as COP, Clean Energy Ministerial, G20, Climate Weeks as well as global and national industry events.
Our goal is to advocate for policies, exchange knowledge, and develop skills that can unlock the benefits of solar PV around the world.
We are uniquely positioned to work with a wide range of stakeholders globally to unite the sector in its common goal of accelerating the growth of the solar market and contributing to sustainable development. We work directly with industry associations across the globe, private sector, governments, international institutions and NGOs to advocate, educate, and strengthen the solar industry.
