Francisco is President-Elect of the International Solar Energy Society (ISES), a founding organization of the Global Solar Council and the longest-standing solar energy organization in the world. He is also a PhD researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, specializing in solar energy systems and their integration in the built environment. He serves in the Secretariat of the World Energy Council (WEC) Future Energy Leaders Program in Uruguay, hosted by the Uruguayan Renewable Energy Association, and was selected as one of the 100 Global Future Energy Leaders by WEC. His profile combines technical expertise, institutional leadership, and international engagement across the energy sector.
