Hassen Bali is co-founder of ion Ventures, an international energy transition specialist focused on clean energy and flexibility solutions. Since 2018, he has led the development and financing of renewable generation and storage projects across the UK, Europe and Asia. He brings extensive experience across project finance, origination and delivery, bridging the gap between development and finance. Previously, he held roles at Lightsource Renewable Energy and Cadence RB, as well as Markit, focusing on clean technology, environmental markets and carbon finance. Hassen is a Fellow of the Energy Institute and a contributor to World Energy Council insights and the GSC Finance Taskforce.​
