Anna Reynolds

300 Million Director

Anna Reynolds is Director of the 300 Million Solar Homes Initiative, leading a global effort to accelerate rooftop solar deployment and expand access to affordable, reliable clean energy for households around the world. Anna has 30 years of leadership experience in government, climate policy and advocacy and NGO management.

She was elected as the Lord Mayor of Tasmania’s capital city, Hobart from 2018 – 2026 providing strategic leadership and governance while championing initiatives that strengthened the city’s sustainability, economic vibrancy and community wellbeing. During her time in local government Anna also served as Ambassador and Board Member for the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy (GCOM), working alongside Mayors worldwide to advance climate action.

Prior to being elected Anna worked as Deputy Director of WWF International’s Global Climate Program, the Principal Consultant of Government Policy at consulting firm Energetics (now ERM), International Adviser to the Parliamentary Leader of the Australian Greens and as the CEO of the Multicultural Council of Tasmania.

She founded the Climate Action Network Australia in 1998 and established WWF Australia’s first climate change program in 2002. Anna has two adult children and is based in Australia.
