In a world of memes and TikTok videos, Phumla helps to tell the story of organisations who shed light on the importance of global energy access and the various alternatives to power.  With an Honours in Environmental Science, she quickly learned that a. majority of important information on climate science was not being shared with the masses - as traditionally scientists find it easier to engage with other scientists. As the era of digital and social media solidified that a new age was upon us Phumla took it upon herself to learn these skills and apply them in her line of work. Her journey started with a simple map and a hunger to bring creativity in “rigid” academics.  She has since gone on to manage and create topical content for social media platforms and websites in the climate and corporate spaces.

Phumla is an eager beaver who is always ready to apply her knowledge and ready to learn new things. She has a range of interest outside of the climate space which include coding, fashion and songwriting.
