Geoffrey Kaila

Geoffrey Kaila is a solar photovoltaic expert, highly motivated, tech-savvy professional with over 15 years’ experience in a fast-paced solar industry. He has extensive experience in design and installation of photovoltaic systems, and in high-profile technology projects. He also has exceptional analytical ability in technical innovation and managing Solar Projects.

Geoffrey Kaila is the Managing Director of Muhanya Solar Limited, where he managed a Ministry of health Rural Health Post Solar Project for 135 Sites across all provinces in Zambia from 2013 to 2014, planned and managed Solar Mini-grid projects from 2017 to 2020, and developed an innovative off-grid solar solution for rural electrification to reduce the affordability barrier.

He is member of the Solar Industry Association of Zambia, and member of the Physics Society of Zambia.
