Join Global Solar Council (GSC) for the global launch of the new position paper ‘How to Finance Solar for All’. Taking place during London Climate Action Week, this high-level convening will bring together influential leaders from public and private finance, multilateral development banks, solar industry innovators, and government representatives to explore bold, actionable strategies for unlocking capital to scale solar PV worldwide.

Developed as part of GSC’s Finance Task Force, chaired by Jinko Solar, the position paper maps the solar finance ecosystem, identifies structural barriers, and proposes a systemic shift from transactional finance to resilient, system-based models. It offers targeted recommendations on public-private coordination, ESG harmonization, and financing solar across its full value chain—from manufacturing and innovation to storage and end-of-life. This position paper will be an invaluable tool for stakeholders in every corner of the world to better understand the financing ecosystem and various finance models and mechanisms to catalyze the solar revolution in every corner of the world.
