Global Battery Alliance (GBA) is a global public-private, multi-stakeholder association and not-for-profit platform that brings together governments, industry leaders, NGOs, academia and international organisations to advance a sustainable, responsible and circular battery value chain by 2030. The Alliance focuses on collaboration across the entire lifecycle of batteries—from raw material sourcing to manufacturing, use and recycling—promoting transparency, environmental protection, human rights and innovation through initiatives like the Battery Passport and shared guiding principles.
