Strategic Discussions for the Energy Transition in Southeast Asia Many of Southeast

Asia’s economies are still heavily dependent on fossil fuels and have yet to accelerate their uptake of renewables. However, renewable-focused players in Southeast Asia are numerous and dynamic. This new event series hosted by REN21, in partnership with the Clean, Affordable and Secure Energy for Southeast Asia (CASE) and the Energy Transition Partnership (ETP), aims to create open discussions, asking: what are the barriers, the challenges and opportunities for Southeast Asia to move away from fossil fuels toward renewable energy? Bringing together key players from governments, industry, civil society, and research, these critical issues will be discussed in discussions centered on three main themes:
- Policy and Governance: 22 July
- Technology: 19 August
- Capital: 22 September
