Carolin Gomulia

Global Connect Engagement Manager

Carolin Gomulia is the Global Connect Engagement Manager at the Global Solar Council, where she works with national solar associations to design and deliver training programmes that strengthen skills and capacity across the solar industry.

She brings more than 15 years of experience in organisational strategy, capacity building and resource mobilisation across the government and non-profit sectors. As Founder and Director of The Workroom, Carolin designs training programmes, facilitates strategy and change processes, and supports fundraising for NGOs, universities, philanthropic funders, and multilateral and bilateral organisations.

Her work has spanned Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the United States, including South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique, Zambia, Namibia, Iraq, Jordan and Nepal. She also served as Chair of Women in Philanthropy South Africa (WIPSA) for two years.

Much of Carolin’s work centres on strengthening the capacity of social-impact organisations and facilitating strategy processes, helping teams develop the skills, systems and clarity they need to deliver on their missions.

She speaks English, German and Spanish and holds Master’s degrees in Development Studies and Development Management.
